June 12 2022 - We released SenseCAP M1 firmware version 2022.06.09.1, which disables mux in helium miner.

06/11/2022 - SenseCAP M1 OTA Update

June 11, 2022 - We released SenseCAP M1 firmware version 2022.06.09.0, which contains a flatline fix and preparation to disable chain sync on hotspots.

Changes:

1. Update helium miner to 2022.06.09.0

2. Update EU868, IN865 and RU864 TX gain LUT of packet forwarder

Notes:

1. The firmware will automatically update, the hotspot owner does not need to do anything. Each firmware release will take a few hours to update all SenseCAP on the network, so please wait patiently to get your hotspot updated.

2. If your hotspot has updated to the new firmware and however not starting to sync after 30mins, you are free to do a reset block to manually sync the blocks. 01/14/2022 - SenseCAP M1 OTA Update

January 14, 2022 - We released SenseCAP M1 firmware version 2022.01.13.1, which includes recommended improvements to snapshot loading and removal of the hotspot filter. This OTA also includes a local console update for SenseCAP M1.

Changes:

1. Update helium miner firmware to 2022.01.12.1

2. Add device CPU ID, ETH MAC and bind key to the local console, which will be used for adding hotspots to SenseCAP Dashboard. Please make sure that you have changed the default password of your SenseCAP M1 and do not share your device info to any third-party.

January 13, 2022 - We released SenseCAP M1 firmware version 2022.01.13.0, which strengthens the security of the dashboard and local console. This is an OTA for SenseCAP M1 security, and the helium miner firmware stays the same.

Changes:

1. Add an extra password to log in to the local console besides CPUID, the default password is the Serial Number of the hotspot. It is highly recommended to change the password after the first login. January 5, 2022 - We released SenseCAP M1 firmware version 2022.01.04.0, which includes recommended improvements in miner specifically related to ensure that Hotspots with unasserted location are still able to sync to the head of the blockchain. Secondly, this release also includes the ability to use additional packet metadata provided by certain packet forwarders.

It is reported that a small part of SenseCAP M1 have been updated the "LoRa region name" (e.g. updated from US915 to region_us915), if the M1 has been rebooted after the activation of PoCv11, it may result in the region unidentifiability issue. This new firmware will fix this issue.

10/29/2021 - SenseCAP M1 OTA Update

October 29, 2021 - We released SenseCAP M1 firmware version 2021.10.27.0.

Changes:

1. Enhance the disk usage management, the SenseCAP M1 will automatically clear the disk space by resetting blocks when the disk usage is more than 85%. The clear procedure only triggers after a reboot or a new firmware release.

2. Optimize the Reset blocks tool in the local console.

3. Again, We do encourage the Hotspot owner to utilize the Turbo Syncfeature to reduce the syncing time to one hour. The Turbo Syncfeature only works on local networks. Learn more details here.
